Rapid Re-Housing Program
The Rapid Re-housing program is case management based and provides deposits, rental assistance, and utility assistance to individuals and families who are currently homeless. We provide these services to low income and homeless individuals who meet program qualifications with the long-term goal of maintaining permanent stable housing.
The Rapid Re-housing program assists single persons, couples without children and homeless individuals that are moving into or relocating the City of Turlock. Program participants must provide a photo ID, social security cards for everyone who will be living in the household, proof of income, and proof of homelessness. Additional documentation will be required depending on the individual situation. To learn more about the Rapid Re-housing program contact Theodora Williams at (209) 664-2003 or theodora@wecareturlock.org. Program space is limited.
Supportive Housing Program
We Care Turlock – Supportive Housing Program (SHP) was started in 2013 to serve extremely low-income homeless adult individuals. The individuals placed in the SHP program are otherwise overlooked and are provided financial assistance and case management. Individuals are subleased into a pre-selected housing unit and are able to become self sufficient by paying a percentage of their income as rent. Once housed they will have case management to help prepare for, school, work, opportunities that will make them self sufficient and able to obtain and maintain permanent housing. Participants are required to set goals and meet them. Since starting the program in 2010, we have housed 5 individuals who were homeless from 1-5 years.
The We Care Program Supportive Housing Program is currently full. For more information please contact Theodora Williams at 209-664-2003 or email theodora@wecareturlock.org
