What We Do

  • The Emergency Shelter provides 49 men a warm, safe environment for individuals who would otherwise be sleeping on the street. These individuals fall at or below the 80% of the area median income and are ineligible for assistance from other social service agencies.
  • A critical solution to end homelessness, beyond providing emergency shelter, is helping individuals enter into transitional housing. With funds from county and federal programs and support from local donors, approximately 10-20 homeless men and women are moved into short term housing annually. Our short term housing solutions range from 2-12 months. Support services include case managers who help clients with budgeting, job placement, and assistance getting them support from community programs. This is an important step in helping the homeless become self sufficient.
  • Own and manage a 4 unit apartment complex which provides long term affordable housing options to families in need in our community. We are proud to partner with the City of Turlock, with funding being provided through the City of Turlock’s HOME Investment Partnership Program and Community Development Block Grant Program.
