This is a part-time, seasonal position
Responsibilities – Process clients through intake; supervise individuals staying at the shelter, record daily information into client files, and general cleanup of shelter. Qualifications – Experience working with the homeless population, tact and awareness of communicating with people under the influence of drugs or alcohol, bilingual Spanish speaking highly desirable, and a valid driver’s license.

Job Description – Assist with client intake procedures and orient new arrivals to shelter protocols and procedures. Monitor clients and overall shelter environment for safety. Perform day-to-day administrative duties including maintaining client records, data entry, and assisting staff in completing all necessary paperwork. Monitor clients and contribute when necessary in the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the shelter facility.
Job Requirements – Good interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working with at-risk individuals with complex needs. Pro-active in your ability to effectively analyze situations quickly and apply sound judgment. Working knowledge of Word and Excel (preferred not required)
