We Care Program’s mission is to provide transitional and emergency shelter, day center resources, and in collaboration with other agencies, support services to assist homeless individuals in becoming self-sufficient.
The We Care Program (WCP) provides shelter services for 49 homeless men a night. These individuals fall at or below 80% of the area median income and are ineligible for assistance from any other social service agency. The We Care Shelter provides a warm, safe environment for individuals who would otherwise be sleeping on the street.
This program is for individuals who are chronically homeless. We provide long-term affordable housing, case management, and support to our clients. Our objective is for participants to remain housed, improve health and lead a more stable life.
Through our hygiene program, we provide individual adults and families experiencing homelessness in encampments or on the street, a place to do laundry and take a shower. The center is open Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
